Mojo Solo Creates "Making of" Doc featuring three MTS Students

Goolge Blogger Logo MTS Graphic Arts Students Dustin Barnes and Eiryn Heglund, and Video Arts student Faith Cavalier had a unique opportunity this spring to partner with creative firm Mojo Solo to create the trailer used at the .EDU Film Festival.

Mojo Solo's web page says it best: "Like MSPIFF and the Sound Unseen Festival, we were more than thrilled when the good folks at the .edu Film Festival asked us to create a trailer for their program. It became apparent during the creative process, however, that in a festival dedicated to showcasing the film and video work of high school students across the state, it would be wrong to leave the students out in the creation of their festival's trailer.

That idea quickly evolved into a highly collaborative 5 hour workshop with three students from the MTS Digital Media Academy at the Mojo Solo offices. In addition to providing an intense brainstorm and production session, we wanted to give the students a chance to see the type of work environment their skills could take them in the future.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the energy, creativity and workmanship that these students contributed to the trailer that we decided to share the excitement with all of you as well!

We hope you enjoy this behind-the-scenes look and we wish nothing but the best for the future of these talented and bright filmmakers."
